We have all loved our teddy bears through the years, but I wonder if you know how the teddy bear originated. It actually dates back to 1902 and came about after U.S. President Theodore Roosevelt refused to shoot a bear during a hunting trip. A cartoonist named Clifford Berryman labeled the bear, “Teddy’s bear”, and toy makers began making stuffed replicas of Teddy’s bear.
